At ilink Chat, we prioritize your data privacy. In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, we provide a transparent, immediate process for users to revoke our application’s permissions and request the deletion of all cached Instagram Graph API contents.

How to Revoke Permissions via Facebook

You can terminate our server’s access to your Instagram business messages at any time directly through your Facebook security panel:

  1. Log into your Facebook account and navigate to your profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Scroll down the left sidebar menu and click on Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate ilink Chat in the active applications list.
  4. Click the Remove button next to the app name.
  5. Confirm the dialog checkbox requesting to remove all posts, videos, or associated authorizations, then click Remove.

Once removed, Meta instantly revokes our active Page Access Tokens, completely halting any communication, and our database registers the separation to schedule automated log sweeps.

What Data is Removed?

Upon initiating deletion, our servers perform a complete purge of all associated records. The following data categories are completely erased from our databases within 24 hours:

  • Active Page Access Tokens and Facebook Authorization records.
  • All conversation history records (direct messages and comment caches).
  • Instagram Account Metadata (Page IDs, names, usernames).
  • Customer business profile details and dashboard account logs.
